The Veteran
A new feature film releasing in 2024 from writer-director Jeremy Waltman.
A struggling magician (Migs Govea) and his successful sister (Juliana Morgan Alvarez) reconciling their father's (Joseph Culp) military legacy. The Veteran is a love letter to vet family members, the art of magic, and cinema. The story examines PTSD in a new way, showing the dark humor of those directly affected. It looks at generational trauma and how art can help us through our day-to-day.

Pig Tails
Inspired by the short novel of the same name by Marie Darrieussecq - this work meditates on the lens through which we see our flesh and the imagined line between monstrosity and beauty. Made by Genevieve Fowler and Juliana Morgan Alvarez.
Long Stretches of Short Time
A collage film that explores the textures of historical atrocity and its relationship to present day trauma. The work pulls from recordings and images from Genevieve Fowler’s grandmother, Gertrude Katz, speaking on a hidden lineage of hysteria in her family that has led to institutionalization, and collides them with the writings and experiences of Walter Benjamin in the final days before his suicide. Long Stretches... acts as a liminal space of collision exploring madness, agency, the rise of fascism, folklore, inherited trauma, uncertain futures, and the musicality of a linguistic that belongs to a specific people.
