Winter series 2024
Winter Series 2024. Created for a special showing at Arcade Arts, downtown Nashville, in the studio and gallery space of Cesar Pita. The series draws inspiration from natural phenomena such as the 25,000 mile migration of the Arctic Tern and the vibrant electrical displays of lightning sprites. Each hand cut tile is smoothed in palm, sanded, and pit-fired before being matched and arranged in distinctive hanging sculptures.
